To the Staff and Owners:  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!  You made my Mother’s life for the past four years special.  We want you to know how much you are appreciated!

You are ALL part of a fabulous organization and I can’t imagine my Mother living any place else.  I made the absolute best choice when I moved her into Sentinel Pointe!!

 I have and will continue to sing high praises of Sentinel Pointe and stand ready to serve as an “official reference” to anyone who wants to know what a fantastic facility you are!

To the Staff at Sentinel Pointe:

      I wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful compassion and the joy you gave my mother the four years she lived at Sentinel Pointe.  I am truly grateful you allowed her to return to her home on her final journey.  Her eyes would light up with love when each of you visited with her.  You became her extended family, and I know you truly cared about her.  You re a group of people who genuinely exude warmth, love and compassion.  I feel God had a hand in helping me choose such a great facility when I needed to move her to Grand Rapids in 2001.

     Please let everyone on the staff know how much they meant to my mother and to us.  She talked about each of the staff as caring individuals.  You, as a staff, are jewels in God’s heavenly kingdom.  May His blessings be upon each and every one of you – from administration, front desk, kitchen, nursing, housekeeping to beauty shop and activities as well as maintenance.  Thank you!  My gratitude and appreciation is heartfelt.

Dear Sentinel Pointe Staff,

 What a wonderful group of people you are! We feel so blessed to have found such a lovely home for our Mother and Dad.  They really appreciated all that the staff did for them and felt so accepted by everyone there..

 Your care for them was overwhelming to us.  We feel so blessed, though this unbelievably difficult time to have walked through the doors at ‘the Pointe’ and to have been drawn into your loving arms.  We will never forget you!

 Dear Friends,

      I want to write this note from my mother and me.  Thank you for all the joy that you showed us during the last months.  Mother was happy at Sentinel Pointe. 

     I will not be too specific because I know I would leave someone out.  She loved teasing and talking with the wait staff, sharing stories with everyone, being driven by the kindest man, having the beauty shop work extra hard on her hair, getting her nails done, getting sewing help, and general all around support and kindness.

Dear Melinda,

     Thank you for all your care, consideration, and kindness in this difficult time for my mother and her family.

      Living under the Sentinel Pointe umbrella was a wonderful experience for my mom.  She misses it very much.

      We continue to spread the good word about Sentinel Pointe.  Tell Don his dining room was my favorite place to eat on 28^th Street.  My mother misses his good food and the lovely dining experience.

      We are all so glad she had the chance to live in a place she loved so much.

Dear Melinda and Sentinel Pointe Staff,

      It’s hard to believe that five years ago this month, we moved mom in.  The impatiens were just as pretty as they are now.  Mom always enjoyed the view from her apartment, and the many activities and excursions.

     Everyone on the staff was so helpful and kind to my mom.  She was so appreciative of everything that anyone did for her.  You all made these five years very happy ones for her and for me too.
